Days Inn by Wyndham Amarillo - Medical Center

This room, the service, and the breakfast were all better than expected for the price we paid. Room was clean (biggest priority) and appeared to have been updated recently. Front desk lady was pleasant, welcoming and efficient. She also apparently works 20 hours shifts. Breakfast was surprisingly robust. Expected muffins and coffee and they had burritos, eggs, biscuits and gravy and more. I've spent more at hotels and gotten much less breakfast. Would definitely start here again.

We spend a good night after drive long way from Colorado , Room has everything we need, clean and receptionist very friendly, in the morning we had a free breakfast before hit the road again in this bad weather. Thank you

Totally a great place to stay! The staff are so sweet. Chené and Cody were absolutely amazing! The service was 10/10 for sure. Room was by far the best ive stayed in at a decent price too especially on a budget. The location is very busy and im from the country so it was hard to navigate through all the traffic but I felt safe here and well taken care of. The stay was great even left a 5 dollar tip for the cleaners for how well of a job they did on the room before I got there. Definitely coming back if I need to stay a night in Amarillo again.

One of the better Days Inn properties we've been to with good value for the price. It's an older building near the highway with lots of restaurants/stores nearby, but was recently updated and has the necessary amenities and is clean. The morning front desk lady, Diane, is friendly and helpful with a nice smile. The hot breakfast is more than most other Days Inns (pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, juice, cereal, pastries, yogurt, biscuits & gravy, and even breakfast burritos some mornings) and is kept up well. There's plenty of parking with security cameras on the lot, a heated pool, pet friendly ($25/nt), no permanent guests living there, and our room was clean with clean towels and bedding and all the light fixtures worked. We had an issue with our sink drain and they fixed it right away. The toilet seat doesn't stay up (Room 105) and there is a bit of outside noise from the nearby motels/roads/other guests, but for the price we felt it was a good value and will stay here again on our next trip through. It's not a Marriott, but you're not paying for that. Seems to be the cleanest and safest affordable motel in this area.

The graveyard front desk guy is awesome and got us a great pet room right away when me and my chihuahua pulled right up to the front door on our road trip. The outside of the hotel is nice and the room had no carpet which I love and was very clean; 1 star off because I had to kill a mini roach. I realize with lots of travelers and next to some older buildings sometimes roaches can be hard to get rid of but this hotel is a great deal if they could just handle the bug issue. Location is great you can hop right back on 40 and lots of coffee nearby if you prefer coffee out.

Great service, especially the front desk clerk, Joe, who took care of breakfast and checkout simultaneously, and did it so well. Our reunion group enjoyed visiting over the breakfast table and staying at your nice hotel.

Nice motel. We were gone before 6am, so didn’t have breakfast. My only complaint was the pool doesn’t open until noon.

It was clean, especially the bathroom. The room is spacious. Perfect value for money. There was no hair dryer in the room, which is in the room description. My wife and I do not smoke and chose a non-smoking room. When we entered the room (202) it was terribly smoky. I think this is a quibble. It was very unpleasant.
